Tim Whitmire and Bo Wilson launched the North Georgia SportsLink (NGSL) in January 2014 with a simple mission — to highlight and promote local sports across North Georgia. What began as a community newsletter quickly evolved into a growing social media network that connects fans and celebrates local athletes.

By the fall of 2014, NGSL expanded its reach by introducing live streaming broadcasts — a bold step that transformed how fans follow their favorite teams. Since then, NGSL has become a trusted source for professional, high-quality sports coverage throughout Dawson, Lumpkin, and Forsyth counties.
